US CUP Presented By H2O Overdrive

H2O Overdrive Triple Crown All Mountain Series

All new for 2010, The US Cup announces the creation of the H2O Overdrive All Mountain Triple Crown presented by Specialized, featuring Kenda Tires.  More than just a pure Cross Country Series, the All Mountain Triple Crown will test a riders fitness and bike handling skills, to crown an All Around Mountain Pro rider in the US.

The H2O Overdrive Triple Crown will include three disciplines at each of the 3 events-XC/SD/STXC.  A riders best two scores will count for his/her overall all score on the days event, as well as the series.  The XC race will always be used and will act as the tie breaking factor, in case two riders tally the same amount of points from the SD or STXC.

Pro Payout is posted on the event schedule page under the events.

Kenda Cup Qualifiers

The network of Kenda Cup Qualifiers was created to allow local and regional riders a chance to make the start line of the Specialized Invitational Finals on September 11-12th.

Most of these races are existing events or series and will allow the rider to compete and follow his/her series or race without any disruptions.

However, each of these official Kenda Cup Qualifiers will offer additional prizes and awards, in conjunction with allowing a rider from that race or series event to try and qualify for the Specialized Invitational Shootout on September 11-12th.

Kenda Cup Qualifying handbook is posted on the schedule page, under the Kenda Cup Qualifier list of events. http://www.uscup.net/up/file/pdf/2010KendaCupguidelines.pdf
